 Granny's
Kitchens, LTD was founded in 1981 by Alan J. Rosenblum in a small
20,000 sq.ft. facility in Yorkville, New York. There Granny's
produced frozen donuts mainly for his father's chain of 20 donut
shops. In 1989, Alan purchased 15 acres of land and built
a 35,000 sq. ft. facility in West Frankfort Industrial Park. And
the rest is history. Currently Granny's size has expanded to a 175,000
sq ft. facility with room to grow. With 280 employees and 8 production
lines, Granny's is now known as the world's largest donut manufacturer
under one roof. | |
In July 2006, Keystone Capital purchased Granny's
and Granny's became part of the Keystone Bakeries Family, joining
Freed's Bakery LLC in New Hampshire, a leading manufacturer of cupcakes
and muffins.
